met ahbee first thing this mornin..
ahbee's the guy who sold me MY vespa..
nice guy.. but a little sneaky..
he said he ends work at 8pm..
so we only could see him and the bike at 830pm..
so in the dark everything on the vespa looked perfect..
and my parents fell in love with it immediately..

but this mornin.. when i saw the bike for the 2nd time..
i got a big fat shock..
the paint was crackin & the seats are kinda wore out..
everything was kinda rusty..
(no wonder no one wanted his bike.. argh.. )
haii.. terrible terrible..
looks like i've a lot of restoration to do..
money money money.. no more money..

but then again.. its a good chance to customize my vespa !
so GOODIE good shoes :)

and guess wad.. the bike's so old..
it doesnt even have any signallin lights..
no honk.. no high beam.. no nothing..
just an engine and a light for night-ridin..
and for every $7 worth of petrol i take..
i have to manually pour tooty (black oil) into the tank..
sounds horrible hor..
but i think i'm gonna LOVE it :)

oh yar.. that ahbee's pretty nice oso lah..
he gave me a rattan basket for free..
i heard its $30 if you get it from arab street or anywhere else..
the basket's really nice.. but too bad i dun have a rack to put it on..
and a plastic sheet to protect my bike from the sun and rain..
good good :)
he even offered to sell me his halfcaps at a discounted price..
its cheap.. but quite ugly.. hahaha
and gave plenty of advice on ridin the vespa..

okae.. so anywae.. after lessons from ahbee..
i spent like 1 bloody hour tryin to get from hougang to charlie's house..
her place is along yio chu kang road..
yck and hougang is join by serangoon road..
damn near each other lah..

but why take so long??
becoz the damn clutch and gears were so hard to change..
i couldnt change the gear to neutral before i stopped...
so my engine ended up dyin on me everytime i stopped at the traffic lights..

this is wad i had to do each time it died on me..
jump off the bike (on the left side)
put it on mainstand.. its difficult ok !!
run to the other side of the bike to kick start it MANUALLY..
and then jump onto the bike, rock it forward to get off mainstand..
clutch in to gear1 and then move off before the lights turned green
and all this time, open throttle now and then, to prevent it from dying..
yar.. but of course.. the lights alwaes change more quickly than i do..
so most time i end up stallin traffic and gettin honked at!!!
sadness upon sadness..

and to make things worst..
ahbee dint tie the rattan basket to the seats properly..
so i had to jump off the bike a few times to save the basket..
lost my helmet bag in the process :(

yar.. so anywae, i took 1 hour to get to charlie's house..
becoz not only did my bike keep dying on me..
i was too afraid to filter from the left lane to the right, to make a right turn..
so i ended up goin in circles..
left turns after left turns.. after left turns
hahaha... until there's was no car.. then can turn right..
plus i was lost lah... could find my ave10..

yupp yupp.. in the end, managed to rush over to charlie's house before the rain came..
but still kena some rain lah..
and after the rain stopped.. char and i rode back to my place..
BLOODY COLD lah...
you know.. after a rain.. its alwaes damn damn cold one lah..
wah seh.. very very bad.. i was shivering all the wae back..
char too.. but she's worst..
she was cold and scared..
coz it was her FIRST time on a bike..
