so anywae, busybody weng, mimi and i went to help out..
we were put in charge of one station each..
and were given the liberty to decide on lynn's roadblock challenge..

for my roadblock challenge..
i made lynn photocopy herself at the med library...
one copy of her face, one copy of her boobs and one copy of her foot !!
it was damn funny... coz she had to climb onto a high stool to get her chest copied....
damn funny position lah, too bad the pics are with weng..
at least i still have her photocopied self..

just got back form PBL..
it was not bad.. learnt alot of clinical stuff..
i think i'm not bad at Ischemic Heart Diseases now..
anywae, i cant help thinkin that lik man presents like an ah-beng insurance agent..
is that very bad??? i dun think so..
i think its quite cute... at least he's very loud and clear..

so anywae, my tutor's funny..
she was very very impressed with our research and presentation !!
she would talk bout something, say, the basis of chest pain..
and den, at the end of it.. ask us if we understood..
and when we nodd our heads..
she was like "WOW.. you people are really smart !! impressive !!"
heehee.. goodie goodie :)
and she kept makin us repeat important details... to rem better !!

oh yar, and her body is weird..
(hey i'm not piantai ok?? when she walkin all around class.. you cant help but stare wad !!)
so anywae, she's really pretty.. nice slim face.. nice features and stuff..

bloggin now.. coz i'm taking a break from studyin..
and why takin a break from studyin??
coz i've got headache again !!
argh...

anywae, char and i did a $2 experiment over the weekend..
it was inspired by ryan's experiment with rootbeer and fruity mentos in hall..
and also, partly inspired by the video i watched from 9news.com

yupp.. so the aim of the experiment is to make a coke fountain..
yes, you read correctly!! to make a yummay delicious coke fountain..
so startin materials, preferrably a 2-litre coke/pepsi/rootbeer bottle
and a row of mentos sweets..
i heard that diet-coke/pepsi/rootbeer makes a better fountain..
but i was too cheapo to get diet-coke.. it was 30cent more than the regular coke..

char and i went got a bottle of 1.5-litre coke and a normal light blue mentos sweet..
char, my lovely assistant, posing with econ minimart plastic bag with coke and mentos..

our experiment material - coke and mentos..

instruction !!
first step is optional..
chop the mentos sweets into halves..
that is to increase surface area for the mentos to react !!

next, put all the chopped/unchopped mentos into a test tube..
no test tubes?? too bad.. go buy one..
hahhahhaa..

next, find an area with high ceiling.. and you can carry out your experiment !!
yay, fun time !!
1. open the bottle cap.. try not to shake the bottle..
2. find a card to cover the mouth of the test tube, and then flip the test tube over
(mentos shud still stuck in test tube)
3. place the test tube over the bottle mouth and den remove the card when ready..
(mentos shud fall into the coke bottle immediately)
4. jump back and watch your experiment in action !!

the one i watched at 9news.com showed the fountain shootin up real high..
approximately 2 metres into the sky..
too bad mine was 30cm high only..
pity they dun sell 2-litre bottles in singapore.. it would have shot up higher !!
but wad the heck.. it still worked !!

we celebrated mimi's bdae on fridae !!!
wengster made her YUMMAY apple crumble..
dilly chong xuel made her very very YUMMAY cookies..
and kerly dint get her anything..
hahahhaa..
i wanted to steal the brownies char and kermin made..
but it was so yummay.. we finished at home..
oven-warmed brownies with vanilla ice cream.. who can resist that??
anywae, dun worry mimi..
i'll start on your present, first thing after the CAs...

so after the microb paper on fridae..
wengster and i cheong down to the LT to find dilly and michfoo..
they wait for us to end CAs... wait till fall asleep..
den we 4 started preparing mimi's present..
take out presents.. show off to each other.. and take a lot of pics while waiting for mimi's arrival..

so when mimi came.. everyone started singing birthdae song..
and happy mimi started unwrappin her presents..
den it was PRESENT NO. 2 !!!

PRESENT NO. 2 is a KISS for mimi..
either a KISS from jirong..
or a KISS on each cheek from darren and jianhong..
silly mimi was sooo scared.. she dint wanna have her first KISS from jirong in front of all of us..
plus jirong was damn damn shy also lah..
so in the end, we made him get down on his knees..
ask for mimi's hand.. and den gave her a KISS on her hand..
so funny lah.. here's the video..

anywae, after bdae celebration in school..
we went to suntec for porridge buffet..
great sacrifice on my and michfoo's part..
coz we hate porridge !!
but for mimi's sake, we paid $10 for it..
actually, i paid more.. $2 for ERP and $4.20 for parking...

yar.. and coz we paid $10 for cheapo porridge...
everyone became mad and took many many many plates of food..
take so much till our whole table full !!
and yes, we managed to finish it..
but of course, with the help of ryan who came later..

hmm, been doin a lot of sewing and DIY stuffs last week..
kermin and char wanted to dress up for halloween..
kermin wanted to be an angel.. and so she brought wings..
char wanted to be an elf.. but she was too cheapo..
so she asked me to sew her an elf hat..
i forgot she wanted an elf hat.. and sew her a robin hood cap instead..
in the end she went for the party as robina hood..
heehee.. so cute right??

oh yar.. sharpertooth and boylie wanted to join in the fun..
so i sew sharpertooth a pair of blue angel wings.. to match kermin's..
boylie.. dint wanna be frankenstein..
so we put the pumkin cover on him.. and made him into pumkin boy :)

and boylie and girlie's skin tore..
so i went to spotlight and got new fabric to sew them a cover...
new minty green ones.. thats a little furry...

and i made strawberry earrings..
got the strawberry keychain from bugis.. 30cents each..
the strawberries were too small to use as keychain..
so kermin bought earring rings.. and we fixed the strawberries onto it..
very pretty.. too bad my pics are at home..

and, char and i took these pics in my march..
went for seafood at east coast to celebrate mummy's bdae..
kermin was sulkin so she dint join us..
the car was too crowded with the 3 fat girls (char, kermin & i) behind..
yes, we are vain.. and a little mad :)
