yes it is !!!

the natural homeland of the rabbits is the Iberian Peninsula
aka Modern Spain and Portugal..

when the Phoenicians discovered that area..
they were amazed by the number of rabbits they saw..
and decided to name that area "I-shepham-im"
"I-shepham-im" means "land of the rabbits"

and "I-shephem-im" is translated into latin as HISPANIA
and hispania = SPAIN !!!!
