todae was a short, good dae :)
clinics todae was damn slack !!!
we met at 830am to do physical examination on one of our stroke/renal/diabetic patient..
den 930am went for infectious control talk which was brainless..
but i liked it.. coz i like to not use my brain..
hahahah..
and lastly, tutorial at 11am was short and sweet..
and i learnt alot todae.. so very good :)
it ended at 1230pm.. and by 1pm, i was home !!
hohohoh :)

and also, i finally got myself staff parking at SGH !! yupp yupp, i'm posted to SGH for the next 2 months..
oh yar, and i'm happy bout the stuff parking coz its FREE !!!
hohohohoh..
you know, i spent $8 on parking in SGH yest..
so expensive hor???
and it was supposed to be my short dae already..
cant you imagine, if i had lessons from 830am to 5pm..
it would cost me $ 11 !!!!
madness !!!!

heehee.. and one thing that made me very very happy todae is..
that the security office staffs called me DOCTOR !!!
hohohoho.. they called me DR KER leh..
cool beans right??
look at my parkin receipt !! oh loveliness :) oh happiness :)

and hor, i finally finished watchin FULL HOUSE !!! 16 vcds in 4 daes..
the show's really nice.. but can be a bit boring and draggy at times..
esp when you watch 4 discs at a go..
so my advice is to watch 1 disc everydae ok??
dun rush thru it like me..

i keep wanting to blog bout my trip to turkey & greece...
but everytime i come to this blogger page..
i'll think of melyi's blog..
and i'll think bout her entry bout lena..
and i'll feel so sad..

i dunno why also..
i wasnt very close to her in sec school or uni..
she was my senior in atheletics.. in primary school..
toon, rongs, laurene and i would alwaes go disturb lena and jiesi..
i rem trainin with our coach, mr nike..
and eatin bamboos literally.. and drinkin ice milo !!

and i rem that it was lena who made me scared of dogs..
she would invite us to her house after atheletics trainin..
and she'll let us play with her new toys or stuffs..
there was this bouncy thingie !!
really fun but i sucked at it..
den there was once, i tried playin with her dog..
and it almost bit off my finger !!
so scary.. from den on, i was scared of dogs..

in sec school.. we all joined different ccas..
toon and jiesi stayed in track... rongs and laurene in basketball..
lena in gym and i in badminton..
but i dunno why, i still alwaes looked up to her..
she was great in everything she did..
she was great in track.. and when she was in gym.. super !!

in uni, i hardly spoke to her..
but we often bump into each other in the med library..
she's alwaes there studyin with her boyfren..
and its so scary..
i mean, just a few weeks ago..
we bumped into each other in the library and exchanged greetin..
and now, she's gone forever..
its so scary :( really !!
and sadness, i dint even get to attend her wake or something..

dunno why.. but suddenly.. everything seems so sad..
you know, lena's accident.. den char's dad kena stroke..
and violet's incident.. and all other small stuffs..
haii, dunno why all the bad things must happen at the same time..
so sian and saddening :(
sucks :(

oh yay yay !!!
i've officially graduated from CSFC !!!
hohohoh.. here's my smallie CG !! we were so happy that we kept takin pics !!!

OSCEs was okae..
i think i'll pass.. and thats most impt !!!
my last stop was the empathy station..
was supposed to think of 3 sentences to comfort a lady diagnosed with cancer..
but i was thinkin of the answer from the previous station..
in the end got no time..
and could only write..
"hi lady, pls cheer up !!! can i do anything for you?"
oh man..
it sounds so bad :(

after OSCEs.. we met up with prof evan lee for a feedback session..
i absoulutely love him !!!
he's so papa so us.. so nice.. so fatherly :)

he asked me how my medical posting exam went..
i told him that i misdisgnosed a patient..
sayin that she was had gangrenous fingers.. instead of peripheral cyanosis
and that my examining tutor was very displeased with me..
den prof lee looked quite angry and argued back that..
if the patients' fingers were left cyanotic for long.. it would turn gangrenous..
so technically, i was correct..

and den i told him that..
when the doc asked me wad were the differential diagnosis for finger clubbing..
with regards to the CVS system.. i only rem infective endocarditis..
the examining tutor was upset that i forgot congenital cyanotic heart disease..
den prof lee said that that examiner shudnt have even test us on diagnosis..
ohohoho...
he's so nice :)

oh, i'll miss my CG 23 !!! esp my small medical posting CG.. and our homebase at NUH ward 56 !! and not forgettin my fav. 20cents drink machine at level 3, outside the research lab !!

hohohoho..
i'm goin to turkey and greece..
oh, i dun believe it..
i'm leaving in 3 daes time !!!
so exciting !!!

anywae, now with mr cream gone..
its so inconvenient to go out..
even goin out for lunch is such a chore :(

and my bro is such a car hogger..
he said he wont be using mr march yest..
but yest, after i got all ready to leave home..
as i walked down the stairs..
i saw him throw out my stuffs from the car and drive it awae !!!
oh horrid shitsu brother of mine !!!

now, i feel like a sec sch kid all over again..
must walk out to the bus stop and wait for bus..
by the time i reach the bus stop, i feel so hot and sweaty already..
just feel like turnin around to go home...

den as you wait at the bus stop..
you feel your lungs go bad as you inhale other people's 2nd hand smoke..
yucks.. i hate smokers :(

and i think the worst thing bout takin bus..
is when those smelly school children come up..
oh stinky stinky !!!
and they not only stink.. they're usually very rude and noisy !!!

oh anywae, back to my greece trip story..
i finally changed my euro dollars!!!

first, i must say..
i dun believe that the rates can rise so quickly !!
you know, when i checked the rates on mondae.. it was bout 2.019..
den on wed, it was 2.025.. and yest afternoon it was 2.35
by evening.. it went up to 2.038..
the moneychanger at suntec was even selling it at 2.045 !!!!
crazy shitsu !!!

i know these decimals may seem small..
but coz we're talkin bout 1k here..
a rise by 0.001 will cost me an extra $1..
cant you image.. if i changed on mondae instead of yest evenin..
i could have saved between $10-$26 !!!
oh crazy crazy !!

but anywae, i managed to find a pretty decent rate..
coz of char :)
very good to have pretty girls, like char around..
she tried to help me bargain..
thou her bargainin skills not so good..
i could see that the indian man was kinda takin interest in her..
so he let her have it at the afternoon rate, instead of the evenin one..
oh lovely, she managed to help me save bout $5 !!!
hahahha..
