haiyo.. i'm still halfwae thru my turkey trip pics..
and i realised.. if i dun blog bout it now..
i'll never blog bout it..
you know, like how i wanted to blog bout my perth trip..
and i kept pushing it back.. until now..
so the plan is to blog bout my trip 2 daes at a time..

so okae, i shall blog bout it now..
but warning for those who are interesting in goin to turkey..
i think my pics and words dun reflect how lovely that place actually is..
you know, my photo-taking skills not good lah..
plus, as a girl, i tend to focus more on our faces den the backgroud..
hahahaha...

okae, so we left singapore changi airport at 315am..
and headed to dubai...
coz we got cheap emirates plane tickets.. 1.1k only :)
instead of a 9-hour straight flight to turkey, istanbul..
we had to stop over at dubai for 8hours of transit..
but that 8hours was good !!
we played cards.. we ate brunch.. and we read up on istanbul !!

fantastic shoppin at dubai airport !! no wonder they're almost no.1 airport in the world..

soccer madness !!! they were selling these WIGS at world of sports!

we also played donkey.. and the "what if" game !! and bottom pics show the lovely dubai minimart with many juicy mags !!

and coz istanbul is 5hours behind singapore time..
we managed to land in istanbul on the same dae, at 6pm..
we made frens with this guy workin at the airport..
and he introduced us to authentic turkish food..
lovely rolled up kebab and apple tea !!
yummay !!!!

here, at the airport with our heavy backpack... see the 2nd pic... thats when i sat on my specs and squashed it..
was left without specs for the nesxt 18 daes :(

first stop in istanbul, dinner at O-kan's father's restaurant..

lovely food !!

next, he bought us to walk around the city.. the blue mosque and st. sophia's really pretty at night & in the dae too !!!

next dae was packed !!!!
coz we stayed in the heart of all the tourist attraction..
just beside four seasons hotel leh..
we kinda visited all the tourist sites in 1 dae !!!
fantastic right?!!?
istanbul.. frenly pple, nice food and great weather !!

first stop, flowers by the road.. the whole of istanbul is covered with very very pretty flowers!!!

den to st. sophia.. i dun really know the history..

but it was supposed to be a church which was later converted to a mosque..

and den to the blue mosque..

we had to wrap ourselves in blue cloth coz we were wearin shorts..
too indecent !!!

den is the cistern.. very cold inside !!!the people used it as a water storage.. in times of war..

we also went to shop at the grand bazaar !!! look !!! lots of carpets, plates and glasses..
