istanbul part II

so anywae, the night before..
O-kan brought us to thaksim square..
its like the orchard road of singapore..
lots of shoppin centres.. lots of expensive shops..
cinemas, eating place.. and lots night clubs..
he brought us to thaksim to club !!

clubbing was weird..
at first he brought us to this empty club..
and said that it would be better like this..
so that, we can have the whole club to ourselves to dance..
crazy !!
so we requested to go to a more happening club..
and when we went there.. we realised that they only played turkish music..
so everyone very sian already..
but mimi and jenica.. being nice people..
decided to humour O-kan and dance around abit..

yar, so thats all bout clubbing..

and den the next morning, horror upon horror !!!
the guys went to walk around on their own..
and they found out that all the greek ferry transport will be hauled from june10-14 !!
very bad, coz now our plans are screwed..

see, we actually planned to leave istanbul on june9..
and den head to kusadasi, a port city in south of turkey..
and den.. from kusadasi, take a ferry to mykonos, a greek island ..
and den stay there for maybe 3/4daes..
before heading to sartorini, another greek island..

but now.. NO MORE ferry transport !!!
so if we sticked to our plan, we might get stranded on mykonos for 5daes..
and mykonos is well-known for being a very expensive touristy place..
the only tourist attraction there, is their beach parties held almost 24hours daily..
or if we're more suay, we'll end up stranded at kusadasi for 5daes if we miss the last ferry!!

so very bad..
we spent the entire morning and afternoon discussing..
went to all the nearby travel agency..
in the end, we decided to extend our stay in turkey..
so we signed up for some package tour to visit all the "must-see"s in south turkey !!
like virgin mary's house on top of the mountain..
pamukkale, the last standing lime-stone mountain in the world..
ephesus and capadocia.. very beautiful places :)

see, the guys went walking on their own in the mornin.. they went near the breakwater with mimi coz there were a lot of pretty flowers..
and mimi was so excited, she picked them and brought them back to the hostel.. to take pics with us :)

next, all of us at the travel agency..
we finally decided to sign up for that expensive tour package...
it cost us 244 euros each !!! thats like sin$500 !!!
thats why we were so sad :( look at the travel agency guy's face !!!

after discussin.. it was already late noon..
no time to visit the tokapi palace.. so we decided to go shopping at thaksim square !! everything at thaksim sqaure's damn expensive..
so the only things we could afford was food !!!
