wad a long dae todae !!
i got up at 623am.. and i just got home !!
its 10pm now !!!
wah.. thats 16hours of work !!

i think surgery posting at alexander hospital is gonna be fun !!
quite slack thou..
there's only 2 operating rooms in this hospital..
so you can imagine, how many surgical cases we see..
almost zero !!!
hahahaha..

this morning was grand ward round !!
grand walk round is a MUST GO in any hospital..
coz it is when those big shot consultants come..
and bring us to see good cases of the week..
and den they'll teach and discuss the management/treatment plan etc..
thats when you get to learn alot alot alot !!!

most people's grand ward round usually last 2-3hours..
thats coz in those big hospitals..
there's usually bout 10-20 good cases..
so there's alot of discussin and learnin points...

but todae in AH, our grand ward round took only 45mins !!
coz we saw.. a total of 3 cases for grand ward round !!!
hahhaha.. so pathetic right??

and you know, in other hospitals..
a surgical team usually have a list of 20-25 patients to take care of..
but in my team, we only got bout 10 patients..
and worst still, almost all of them are either post-operative..
or have very mild cases like gastritis..
so not much learnin oppotunities..

but never mind..
i still like AH very much..
coz i like my tutor and my CG mates :)

anywae todae, dehan and i saw a hernia repair !!
it was quite boring lah.. but very very bloody !!!
quite disgusting.. and very smelly..
the operation was bout 2hours 30mins long..
i stand until my feet wanna give wae...
in the end, i persuaded dehan to leave early with me..
hohoohh..
we're such slack shit !!

after that.. we went to watch endoscopy by dr ganesh !!!
hohohohoh..
dr ganesh is very cute and charming..
but he's damn flirty.. alwae flirt with the nurses..
no wonder everyone loves him..
but do you know, he alwaes treat his student to drinks...
yupp, so our aims is to be goodie buddies with him..
so that he'll treat us to drinks !!!
hahahaha..

anywae, our endoscopy experience todae was very good !!
thou we only managed to catch the last 3 procedures of the dae..
it was very fruitful..
we saw an OGD, variceal ligation, colonoscopy and a PEG !!
cool beans !!!
dr ganesh even commented that we were very lucky..
not everyone get so see all 4 procedures in a dae !!
very pleased todae, i am :)

yupp.. and after school..
we went to meet mimi, sel and et for lunch at crystal jade !!
yummay as can be..
just that my favourite mango pudding was sold out..
plus eatin charsiew polo bun with a sore throat sucked..
but meetin up with funny frens totally rock !!

sel said that in her primary school..
if you forget to wear PE attire for PE..
den punishment was to run in your panties..
and she really did see girls in panties during PE..
damn funny !!
her school teachers are damn prevert lor !

and den we rushed back for the compulsory talk..
by our health minister, mr khaw boon wan..
extremely boring talk.. i fell asleep...
but in the end, his Q&A session was very interesting..
too bad, i missed it..
darren and i was playin with mimi's camera.. we took a lot of pics..
and later, mimi and i joined don, sean and weisheng for drinks at UCC..

oh, and did i mention that i met up with violet and xueling yest??
loveliness..
i miss them both..
yupp yupp.. so happy to see them so happy..
makes me feel so happy too :)
