in the A&E setting, when a patient gets admitted..
immediate actions by the doctors = primary survey.
we have this ABC method.

A for a patent Airway, is there any airway obstruction?
B for Breathing. is it present or absent?
C, check for Circulation, check patient's pulse.
D for Disability.
E for Exposure, the patient needs to be adequately exposed.
so that we can see if there's any obvious lacerations/injuries.
and the fastest wae to undress a patient is to use a scissor.

yesterdae, there was a patient involved in a road traffic accident.
he smashed his motorcycle into a trailer.
and kena damn alot of fractures, abrasions, lacerations.
