oh sadness.
i gained back the 2kg i lost over the weekend.

anywae,
i know, being a medical student is tough.
must know this, must know that..
whole dae kena questioned by tutors in clinics..

but i dint know..
that even as a sick medical student..
i'll be questioned by the doctor in the gp clinic.
oh sadness.

doctor: so you are a medical student, yes?
kerly: yes :(
doctor: ok, then you shud know this. your symptoms ah..
doctor: are they bacterial or viral in nature?
kerly: erm..
doctor: so, do you think its gastroenterisits? or is it gastric flu?
kerly: erm..
doctor: so tell me what's the difference between the 2..

kerly: erm madam, actually i came coz i wanted to know if i need antibiotics for this?
doctor: you tell me !! when a patient comes in with tummy upset..
doctor: when do you give antibiotics, and when not to??
kerly: erm..

doctor: ok, so here's loperamide and activated charcoal.
doctor: you know why i give you this right?
doctor: see, charcoal is for (1 x long explanation) and loperamide is for..???
kerly: yes yes, i know
doctor: so when can you give loperamide? for bacterial or viral infection??
kerly: erm, yes yes, i know !!
doctor: okae, very good! see you :)

wah lao.
very stressful indeed.

yes indeed, i shud have given her some COFM lessons !!!

but at least, as a medical student..
we get free consultations and free medicines !!!
so very very good :)
