ok, this is gonna be my last post on vietnam !!

the last daes in vietnam was really quite fun !!
tongdee, nicky, renxiang, terri, ashley and i extended our trip.
and we decided to go the famous HALONG BAY !!!
after sending the rest of the team off,
we went for another round of shopping !!
the guys managed to buy really cheap and real-looking, fake adidas shoes !! the lady first quoted tongdee sin$48..
and after half an hour of bargaining, he managed to bring it down to sin$20. he was really happy and boasted bout his savings !!
but nicky had to burst his bubble,
nicky got the same pair of shoes for sin$5 !!! and look at our lovely cheap bags !!

and den, we had dinner in the supposedly, more expensive, touristy area !! but only paid sin$2 per person for a full meal !!
crazyness right??

we also sneaked into the late night wet market !!
and saw many many live animals and fish for eating !!! and many many fruits and flowers !!

we den went up to one of the highest building by the lake..
and had a wonderful 1-hour foot massage, and then yummay tasting local coffee with a great view !!!
the next morning, we took a 3hour bus-ride to halong city,
and den took a lovely looking boat to halong bay !! very beautiful bay indeed :)

we took many jumping shots !!! hohohooh.

and to catba island !!
its this cool bean, natural reserve, where we get to hike and see wild animals !!! and we went to this funny cave with many many rocks and stones !!!

we also went canoeing !!! very tiring but fun indeed !!!

and we stayed overnight on the boat !! loveliness to the max !!
the sky was beautiful, totally cloudless, many many stars !!!
terri, ashley and renxiang managed to see 2 falling stars !!
so unfair, tongdee and i missed it coz we were facing them :(

and we made frens with a korean doctor,
who offered us cigarettes to smoke. horrid doctor right??

next morning, we took the boat back to halong city !!
and guess wad we saw !! an old cutesie fisherman couple !!!
they managed to catch some big, juicy and fresh seafood !!!
and coz they were so nice and cute,
we decided to buy many many seafood from them !!
and the boat uncle helped us cook it in beer !! very yummay and sweet !!
and super cheap indeed !!

and finally, our last meal in vietnam !! hotplate beef steak !!
guess how much it cost !!!
hohohohoh. its only sin$2.50 !!!

oh, i love vietnam !!
