wad an eggciting night it was !!

char had allowed the bunnies to stay with me for a month.
to keep me company while kermin was gone.

i was on my wae to her house to pick up the bunnie cage.

next moment, BANG !!!
airbags burst out from the steering wheels.
the whole car was smoking up, and there was smelly burnt rubber smell.
i was stuck in my car.
had to kick, kick, kick the door open to get out !!

the first thing i did was to call out for eye-withnesses !!
lucky for me, there was a couple on a motorcycle who withnessed the accident.
they were behind the crazy man, waiting to turn right.
i was coming straight, it was green light for me, i had the right of wae.
everyone saw my oncoming car, and were waiting in the right-turn pocket.
the crazy man must be blind or something,
but he just dashed out and attempted to make the right turn.
and ended up crashing into me !!
very poor judgement on his part !!!

everything happened so fast !!!
i think i had adrenaline rush man !!
i was bleeding in my left forearm, abrasions in my right forearm and knees bilaterally,
but i dint feel anything, until the couple pointed it out to me !!
they were really nice, they accompanied me until my parents and the ambulance came.
and they advised me to call the police, the ambualance and the firemen.
police becoz it was a horribly big accident, both cars were totally smashed.
firemen becoz petrol was leaking from both cars, and both was fumming awae.
ambulance becoz i was bleeding in the left forearm and it looked bendy and swollen.

and while waiting, they kept reassuring me.
they kept telling me that i was not at fault at all.
that it was the crazy man who dashed out.
and they even helped me with the exchange of details with the other driver.
and gave me their contact numbers in case i needed them to testify against him.
really, the nicest strangers i've ever met.

and my parents were damn cute !!
my dad jumped out of the car and told me this,
your mother's eye lids had been twitching the whole dae, since morning.
she had a very bad feeling that someone, either you or korkorjyn, was in danger.
she was just telling me bout it during dinner time.
5 mins later, you called and said you're in a car accident.
so scary hor..

and my mum, she jumped out of the car and immediately hopped around the cars,
taking pictures of the wreck, for evidence against the crazy man !!
she even pulled char in, to take pictures for her !!

rachel was on a bus home when she saw char and i,
and together, the NG sisters, char and rachel, came over to help clear up the mess,
take our personal belongings out of the car before towing it to vicom for assessment.

in the meanwhile,
the ambulance came and sent me to the hotel 4 emergency department.
i talkalot to the paramedic coz she was the same lady i talked to during my ambulance run.
so qiao.
just one month ago, i was the medcial student tagging along in the ambulance.
now, i'm the poor patient in the stretcher.

at the hospital, we did many many xrays. and when the doc found out that i was a medical student,
he wanted to test me, he read an ECG and den passed it to me.
i was going thru it with a glum face, was bout to comment on my findings,
regular sinus rhythm, 80beats per minutes, ST elevations, etc..
den suddenly he realised that,
I'M IN HOSPITAL TODAE AS A PATIENT, NOT A STUDENT !!
and so, he let me off !!

hohohooh.
so now, i'm home resting my painful hand, and hoping my neckache from the backlash goes awae !
