hmm, i lost my voice :(
maybe i ate too much oily fried food in laos.
so sad.

i wanna blog bout my laos trip.
but i dunno why, maybe its coz i lost my voice.
but i dun feel like bloggin alot todae.
so i shall just put up pictures !

so here's us in the plane, flying off to udon thani, at 4am in the morning ! i'm not sure whether there's a direct flight into laos, vietiane.
but the common practice is to fly into udon thani, the most northen part of thailand,
and den take a bus over the causewae to laos, vietiane. very similar to singapore and johor, the bus trip took 45mins.
and look at the mekong river !!! very important river, supplies water to many many people in laos and thailand.
its a significant river becoz thailand and laos is divided by this river !!

anywae, interesting fact of the dae !
do you know why laos is so backward and poor?
thats becoz its surrounded by many many countries !
thailand on the west and south, vietnam on the east and china on its north.
and poor laos, keeps getting invaded by these countries.
and have to pay many many money !
and everything they get has to pass thru either thailand, vietnam or china,
and thats why their tax is so high, their petrol is expensive and their people are poor.
oh, so sad :(

so after reaching the bus interchange in vietiane, we took a tuktuk to our hotel, and had yummay lunch by the famous mekong river !!
yes yes, you dun see any river water now becoz its the dry season. the big fat river has been reduced to a mini stream !!!

after lunch, it was rent-a-bike time !!
yay yay !!
i convinced my dad that riding is much better than cycling !!
and so, we decided to rent bikes to tour around vietiane.
yupp, vietiane's the new capital of laos.
its really small, one can tour the entire vietian on bicycle within 2/3 daes.
many many temples, buddha statues and wet market indeed !! i think there's bout 100 temples in vietiane,
so we had to choose to visit those MUST SEE ones !!
in the end, we covered bout 5 temples, and 2 wet markets.

and at night, we had cheap, yummay seafood along the mekong river again ! yummay yum yum :)
and of course, lovely tradition laos massage to end the dae :)
