oh, as you can see,
naughty char has invaded my blog !!
but yes, very good indeed.
coz i'm goin to have a new blog layout.
so eggciting !!

anywae, happy news for me,
my emed test is finally over !!!
hohohoho.
the test was pretty okay lah.

the mcq was as hard as expected,
left quite alot of questions blank,
becoz rather not answer than kena negative marking for wrong answers.

den the osces was a killer !!
yesterdae's revision was damn good coz there were alot of ortho cases,
but todae's was terrible !
i couldnt even get my main diagnosis right,
how to consider differentials and treatment plan??

but the viva was pretty good !
i had a kind tutor, he's dehan's long-lost cousin.
he was pretty nice but super thorough !
he tested every single thing !
1. ECG
2. Xray
3. Equipment
4. Drugs

he asked if i preferred cardiac arrhymias or acute coronary syndromes,
i chose the latter and i had a nice ECG !
posteroinferior STEMI, right ventricular infarct with 2nd degree (2:1) heart block.
den he quized me on entire resuscitation process,
right from the ABCDs, to immediate actions, to long-term management of AMI.
and he's super duper ask-alot-of-question kind,
i nearly died when he kept pressing for exact numbers to everything.
"how much IV fluid? how many litres? over how long?"

den he gave me a superior and posterior pelvic rami fracture for xray,
coz i was the only student that had started on ortho posting !
identification of the fracture and its treatment, complications was good,
until he started on the "how much fluids, exactly how many litres, over how long?" again.

den, the identification of a chest tube, the different parts of it, the safety triangle,
and the entire procedure on how to insert a chest tube.
and last but not least, he tested me on the uses of lignocaine,
den, "how much lignocaine for LA? how much for VT? how much? how much?"
argh !!

but anywae, i'm just super duper glad its over.
you know, the entire of last week was super stressful for me !
this how i spent my daes.

830am - 430pm,
at ortho clinics, amubulatory sessions, dae surgery, etc
all the in between time was spent mugging ortho,
so that we wont get slammed by the tutors in class.
or i'll try to crash the emed tutorials as revison for my test !

530pm - to sleeping time,
mug emed like crazy !!
try to understand ecgs, xrays, algorithms for cardiac arrhythmias,
protocols for all various types of emergencies !
burns, poisoning, pain abdo, pain chest, etc !!
its really madness !!!
terrible terrible terrible !!

the last 2 daes before the test was even worst,
yesterdae, i left home at 730am, and came home at 1130pm !!
yes, thats becoz we had a 13hour revision lecture with suresh !!
crazy shit right?
but at least he managed to explain so much, untill i got all my concepts clear :)
and darren, jianhong, dehan and eunice, they were very helpful indeed!
i was so tired, i came home, had dinner, go wash car den slept !!
wanted to do last minutes revision, but was super duper shagged.

oh, and i thot i was being super hardworking already.
but no !
i overheard a conversation todae,
apparently someone went home at 11plus yesterdae and studied till 2am,
and den she woke up at 5am to revise somemore before test todae, at 8am.
this is really crazy !!!
emed is very stressful indeed !
and i'm so glad it over.

i just came home from suresh's ECG lecture.
yupp, it ended at 930pm !!
crazyness !!
eunice and i were freaking out,
we missed a couple of lessons during our emed posting,
coz of AUG training, of course !!
and now we're totally lost !
boohoo, totally catch no ball during his lecture todae.
oh sadness.

tom's revision lecture with suresh, 9am-9pm !
he warned us to bring food and drinks,
there's not going to be any breaks at all !!

todae, i wore a white blouse and brown-checkered berms.

jianhong: hey, you're missing something !
kerly: wad?
jianhong: all you need is a jockey helmet, and you're ready for your race !
kerly: huh?

weesoon: hey, i like your shorts !
kerly: yay ! thanks :)
weesoon: looks like someone, hmm..
kerly: wad?
weesoon: you know, those people who race horses?
kerly: jockeys?

oh no, a rat just came into the house !
and poor little cookie got frightened by it !

first, he went up to the rat and sniffed it,
den he tried to chase the rat awae by scratching at it,
the horrid rat tried to get awae by crawling under him,
and terrified cookie was so scared,
he ran straight into the living room, and hid behind the chairs !

he's such a silly and cute buck.
this afternoon, when there was thunder and lightning,
poor cookie kept hopping around the house in a scaredycat fashion.
oh cuteness is wad he is :)

anywae, someone told me a piece of good new !
and now, i'm like super duper motivation to get fit and exercise !
thats coz, we might be goin to hong kong in june !!
yupp yupp !!

at first, we were told that nus might wanna send us to bangkok,
for the biannual asian university games.
i was kinda sian bout it coz i've been to bangkok like a million times.
so not very eggcited !

i mean, you know, these overseas tournaments,
its not bout getting any badminton experiences, etc
its all bout getting a cheap, subsided holidae !!
hahahha.

thats coz, singapore's too straight lah!
every year, we sent our best varsity players for such university tournaments,
but indonesia, china, vietnam, laos, cambodia, etc
they send their state players, or even better, their national players.
so thats why we alwaes get knocked out after the first round !!
hahahaha.
i mean, how to fight with national players leh !?

wad i think is that,
to singapore, these games are to strenghten bilateral ties.
but to the other countries,
its an opportunity for their young national players to get more tournament experience.

so anywae, according to my fren,
nus have decided to send us to compete in the world university games instead.
and yes yes, its gonna be held in hong kong !!
heehee !!!

so now, motivated kerly will be very healthy and fit,
so that i'll be able to go to hong kong in june !!
yeah yeah !!

wad a fruitful clinical session todae !
i was supposed to follow the head of department of spine surgery,
but he was too busy running 3 clinics at the same time,
so i followed his MO instead.
and it was a really good session.
we discussed differentials, treatment/management plan,
he taught me how to do physical examination on the lumbar and cervical spine,
and he even taught me how to read spine xray.
a very good dae indeed !

since i'm home early todae,
i shall give you an update on my naughty bunnies !
as you know, cookie and raisin stays with me,
donut and cream stays with toe's cousin,
and the 8 other naughty bunnies stay with char !

so donut and cream are very good. they are no longer scared of the washing machine.
and they're goin to have a new playmate soon!
thats coz toe's cousin is pregnant !
yay !

and for the 8 smelly bunnies at char's house, they're really fat and dirty !
fat becoz char feeds them alot alot alot !!!
and dirty coz they love to lie in their own pee.
these nuaghty bunnies are still not toilet-trained,
and so, they still pee & shit everywhere !
very dirty indeed !

and on my clean and lovely cookie and raisin :) yes indeed, they are very clean and white !
no wonder char loves to hug and watch tv with them when she visits ! but these bunnies are as naughty as can be !!

terrible cookie have invaded the house !! now, that daring buck runs into the living room and watches tv with my papa !
and when he's bored, he drinks tea from the altar and digs at the pot of sand.
yupp, he's really horrible !
my papa hates him now :(
and he also irritates my mummy by biting the leaves of her plant !!
he doesnt eat the leaves, he just bites it, chew on it for awhile and den spits it out !
very naughty indeed !

raisin, on the other hand, is tryin to escape ! in his free time, he explores the backyard and makes fren with the rats.
at night, he invites the rat home to have dinner together,
and when i hide the food bowl, he guides the rat to find it.
very terrible indeed.
oh xuel, i need bailey to come eat up the rat !!!

happy birthdae to you, darren !
you turn 24years old todae !
hmm, pretty old indeed.
hahahaha.

you know, ever since orthopaedics posting started,
the pointer on my happiness scale has been on the negative side.
oh except for last fridae, when prof lee, the ex-dean of medicine, took us.
that was the only tutorial/clinical session that we actually learnt something.
he's really good, no wonder he was the dean !

somehow, i have this impression that the department of orthopaedics,
seem to attract a certain group of guys.
the kind of guys that i would describe as jerks/idiots/assholes.
this is terrible.
orthopaedic is by far the worst posting i've ever done.

and to whoever that said that orthopaedics was fun and slack,
this is totally untrue, at least not now.
yes, let me repeat myself.
orthopaedics sucks and its absolutely un-fun, and not at all slack !

bah !

i hate orthopaedics.

happy birthdae to you, dehan.
you turn 22years old todae !

yesterdae, we celebrated dehan's, hanboon's and darren's birthdae.
the DHD birthdae party was held at sentosa palawan beach !
it was really fun !
alot of beach games, like frisbee, soccer, swimming ! and "lets hit some coconuts down, with our balls" game.
unfortunately, our rugby ball got stuck in the tree,
and poor donovan had to climb up to retrieve it !
after everyone had arrived,
we had to cut our melty but awfully yummay birthdae cake !
and of course, present presentation !!!
the 3 guys were very pleased with their birthdae present !!
after an early seafood dinner near my place,
we all cheong back to 123 for miss singapore universe !!
hahahahha.
watching the show with like 15 other people was really fun.
and according to don,
we had definitely accumulated enough bad karma to send us to hell 5times over !
but thats the point of having miss singapore universe right?
hahahha.

todae's bbq was really good !
we put alot of honey all everything ! yum yum !
and this time, there was no one that could stop us !

and becoz char's maid went back,
judith made char a BIG pot of yummay pork porridge !
its so much, i think it can feed her for least a week !

after bbq was present presentation,
char painted me 2 cutesie tees. and she's goin to upload my new blog layout soon !
so eggciting.

and then, we played with the bunnies and made them watch tv with us !
oh, i love my cutesie bunnies so :)
we took like 100+ pics of the cute buns !

todae, the magic number is 3 !!
becoz its the 3rd time this week i met up with my favourite girls :)
thats chong xuel, mimi, diana, wengo & char !!
wengo's not counted lah, coz i see her everydae !
hohohoho.

todae's meeting with the ghim moh girls was impromptu !
mimi and diana were hanging out in town,
mimi wanted to tell me her eggciting story,
so i decided to meet them for dinner after dropping weng off at junction8 !
i parked mr cream at far east and had to walk to taka,
and guess wad !!
i bumped into xuel at tangs, she was on her wae home after workclothes shopping.
so in end, all 4 of us met up for eggciting story, yummay dinner & dessert !
hohoohh, we had a lovely time !

i really miss hanging out with the ghim moh girls,
i rem in jc, 20 out of 26 people in my class took double S paper.
mimi, diana, xuel and i were the 4 of the 6 that didnt.
and we would hang out all day at ghim moh macs, to jizha, eat and grow fat.
while waiting for wengo and kristal to finish their S paper lecture.
oh, that was so long ago !!

todae we talked bout how a guy wanted to crush me,
how some sickening malay guy tried to pick xuel up by asking if she was a "mother",
talked bout diana funny lick-lick-oh-no!-my-ice-cream-is-on-the-floor story,
we also talked bout many many stuffs and gossip like a gossipmongers !
hoohohoh, very fun indeed !!

also, i'll be seeing char for the 3rd this week tom !
she has prepared a lovely smallie bbq party for me and my family.
too bad, guo mama and papa will be in KL, and guo meimei is busy with potluck.
so its gonna be me, char(meela), guo gege, ruishan and judith !
very eggicited i am !
coz tom is gonna to be present presentation !!
char promised to make me a new cutesie kerlybob blog layout,
i cant wait to see it !!

also, i cant wait to have yummay honey-glazed bbq wings !!

i just received a letter from the traffic police todae,
they have decided to fine that idiot and award him 9 demerit points.
guess how much they're fining him, $200 ONLY !!!
argh, this sucks !
$200 and 9 demerit points only??
that idiot destroyed my car, nearly killed me,
and lied to the traffic police bout the accident !!
and now he gets awae with only $200 fine and 9 demerit points?
sucks man !

wah lao, sian man !!
now, i really hope to get the $3500 pain&suffering compensation from him !!
and, i hope my car insurance claims alot of money from his !!
chey, this sucks !

anywae, todae in lecture, prof kumar said that you can sue someone for abrasion scars !
he mentioned that some guy sued another for $10000,
becoz he sustained an abrasion scar caused during a Road Traffic Accident !
maybe i shud go sue him for that.
rem that big, ugly abrasion that i got during the car crash?
yar, its still here.
big and ugly and permanent !!

i went to sleep, dreaming of guotiaotang !
i went to eat guotiaotang first thing this morning.
wah, i'm super pleased with myself.
indeed, i'm a healthy girl now !

it all started with wengo.
no, actually it started with ryan's no!-to-food diet !
he stopped eating and lost damn alot of weight !
it made wengo very stressed out and so she started her diet too !

she started becoming very healthy.
at first, she stopped having supper at fong seng with us.
then, she started eating more veges, and less meat.
then, she only ate soupy dishes like yongtaofoo, or fish soup.
and now, she only eats half of the yongtaofoo, or fish soup.
and becoz input less than output,
she also lost damn alot of weight, like ryan !

and becoz of her very healthy diet,
i started to feel very fatty and unhealthy.
you see, if we go to any hawker center,
wengo will be very pleased as long as they sell banmian, or any soup stuff.
and for me, i'll just have my favourite oily chicken rice.
and its horrid !
coz i'll gobble down all my rice and be happy.
but she'll sip down half her noodles and soup and will be very full already !!
wah, really made me feel like a glutton man !!

so one dae, i decided that i shall be healthy girl, like wengo !!
and so i decided to eat fishball guotiao everydae !!
hohohoho.
just like in st nicks, when i ate curry guotiao every dae !!
i rem eating curry guotiao for every recess and lunch for 2 entire years.
my frens were horrified and thot i was mad !
hahahha.

so anywae, happiness is how i feel now !
coz i'm a healthy girl that dreams of healthy food !!
hohohoho :)

i just received my lawyer's letter !
that idiot shitface that hit me,
got summon by the traffic police for inconsiderate driving !
yes yes, justice is served !!

my lawyer is helping me sue him for the following,
body injuries, pain & suffering, medical bills and transportation cost.
my pain and suffering is the most expensive,
they're plannin to claim bout $3500 for that !!
hahahaha.

they warned that the other party will try to bargain,
so i doubt i'll receive alot of money !!
but i still secretly hope that i'll get $3500 !!
hahahaa.

todae, i shall blog bout my fun trip to genting and KL !
not many pictures thou, coz i wasnt feeling very photowhorish.
plus mimi wanted to use her cam, so she had all the fun pics !
and this sickening aunty ah, keep forgetting to bring my thumb drive whenever we meet !
hmpf !

so anywae, we decided to go up to genting,
coz jianhong managed to get 6 rooms at genting for $40 each !
cheap cheap !!

so on thurdae afternoon, after my fam med end-of-posting test,
mimi, jianhong, dehan and i jumped into mummy's new lancer and drove up KL !
we spent the first night in KL bangsah !
the last time we drove up, we took 90mins to get from the KL toll to jianhong's house.
this time, thou we hollanded again, we managed to find our wae home in 12min !
yay, very BIG improvement indeed :)

first night was a slack night,
we ate at yummay and cheap outback steakhouse,
and jizha all night through !

next morning, we took cheap 8ringgit bus and cable car ride up to genting !!
while the other 10 people took a straight bus from singapore to genting !
did you know, the genting cable car ride is asia's fastest and longest ride??
yes indeed, new fact of the dae !
everybody, pls go take the fun genting cable car ride ok?

when we reached genting, we were very pleased to meet up with the other 10 !!
and of course, alot of photowhoring outside our puny first world hotel rooms !! yay !!

thou we had like 3hours at the theme park, we managed to try every ride ! yayness, very fun indeed !!

after dinner, it was bowling and pool time !! at first, there was only jiayang and i,
coz everyone had abandoned us to go casino and arcarde !! and den jianhong and dehan joined us, so we had a pool challenge !! jianhong and i partner verus jiayang and dehan !
and we won !!! hohohoho, we are good man :)

next stop, while everyone went to drink and get drunk, kerly, dehan, jianhong and jiayang decided that we wanna gamble !
but coz jiayang dint wear a collar tee,
we had to help him make a fake collar, out of macdonald napkins !! hahahaha.
the guards actually let him in !!!

and next morning, we headed back to KL to spend one night drinking at the cheap bars.
thou the shopping at megamall sucked, the food was as yummay as can be !! oh wad a fun trip !

next destination, krabi beach !
