dilly wanted a handmade present for her birthdae,
weng made her a pinata, mimi coloured her a pretty picture,
diana made her a yummay chocolate birthdae cake.
and so kerly decided that since i'm kerlybob the builder,
i shall build her something !
no more tee-shirt painting, no more sewing !!
hahaha !

so i went out to the hardware shop with gerald,
and this was wad i got ! light bulb, wires, electrical wires and a 2-pin plug.
yes indeed !
i've decided to make dilly a birthdae lamp !

and so, i removed the rubber tubing, linked the 2-pin plug to wires, link the bulbs to the wires, and finally to check if the connections work !

and oh horror upon horror !
mini explosion !
and my whole room blacked out, the 2pin plug died, and my poor comp's power box fused again !
argh.

very bad !!
so poor kerly had to refer to her sec4 physics textbook. yes yes, V=RI, P=VI !!

so change of plans, to buy batteries and baby bulbs ! safety first, no more direct power from the mains.

and yes indeed !
finally, a birthdae lamp for dilly :) yay.
not very pretty but yes, not bad for a first try right?
