oh, i'm feeling super bu shuang and bitchy now.
i thot that i could sleep it off, but i cant.
at least, not todae.
i've tried to sleep it off a couple of times already.
but todae, the msg i received just pist me off all over again.

so it started with me burning shows onto vcds.
i hate watching shows on the comp, it hurts my eyes.
so anywae, pple heard that i had copies of shows on vcd and asked to borrow.
and its really ok if you borrow and return,
but apparently, my frens are not very good at returning things.
so now i'm pissed coz a couple of frens really pist me off big time !

it started with A.
A wanted to borrow a drama serial from me,
i had burnt all 4seasons onto vcd.
so A msg me.

A: hey, i heard you have XXX on vcd, can i borrow?
kerly: sure, but its with another fren now.
A: oh no, but i really wanna watch it.
kerly: ok, tell you wad, i'll try to contact my other fren.
kerly: as soon as i get the vcd back from her, i'll contact you.
A: oh thanks !!

the next dae,
A: hey, have you gotten the vcds back yet?

the next next dae,
A: hey, i really wanna watch the show, can you get it back soon?

the next few daes and weeks
A: hey is it back yet? i really wanna watch the show !

slowly by slowly, i started getting real pissed with A's lack of EQ !!
each time she asks for it, i'll nicely explain to her that i havent gotten it back.
i mean, its really not easy to get things back from people,
esp from frens that you hardly meet up with.
in the end, it was..

kerly: hi A, i understand that you really really wanna watch that show.
kerly: but i've school, i'm in clinic all dae, i've posting tests to study for, training to atttend
kerly: i've no time to get my vcd back
kerly: plus, i've contacted my fren many many many times already
kerly: she's not replying too.
kerly: its not that i dun wanna lend you the vcds, i just dun have it with me now.
kerly: my fren stays in the east, if you wann it that desperately,
kerly: why dun i give you her number and address and you can get it back from her?
A: oh, she stays in the east? erm, can you get it from her den i meet you to take it?
argh, fucking annoying !

so anywae, i finally managed to get back my vcds and lent it to A.
todae, she msg me asking for season4.

A: hey, i've finished season 1-3, its really good. hmm, i heard there's season4. can i borrow?
kerly: yar sure, i've season4 but the first 5episodes are missing.
A: erm, den can you find it? get it? or burn another copy of it?
kerly: yar, i've been searching but i really cant find it. do you wann the rest of the season first?
A: erm, i really wanna watch it, can you find it den let me know?
by this time, i was absolutely pissed off with her,
and have decided not to answer anymore of her sickening, anger-inducing msges.

i mean, what the fuck man !!!
here you are tryin to borrow something from me and i've to do all the shit for you?
argh !!!

and another thing,
i'm doing you a favour by lending you my stuff,
the least you could do is to return it on time.
or even better, not lose or destroy any part of it.

so here's the second part of the story.
as A wanted the vcds, i had to contact B for my discs.

kerly: hey, are you done with XXX yet? my other fren wanna borrow leh.
B: oh i'm sorry. i borrowed it on behalf of C. so its with her now.
kerly: ok, so can you help me take it back?
B: hmm, why dun you contact her straight? it would be faster that wae.

see, B is my fren. i know C but i'm not close to C at all.
afterall, i only got to know C thru B.
so anywae, i decided, yes i shud contact C directly if i wann the discs back asap,
becoz there's A msging me almost everydae !!!
argh.

kerly: hey C, i heard from B that my XXX is with you.
C: oh yar, i was with me. but i thot you watched it already and werent in a hurry to get it back
C: so i lent it to D
kerly: huh? so its with D now?

and again, i only know D thru C, which i know thru B.
so yes, technically speaking, i do know D. but only by face.
becoz D is C's fren and i only know C thru B.
so as annoyed as i am already,

kerly: hmm, so how can i contact D to get back my vcds?
C: oh no, D is overseas now.
kerly: ok, so when will she be back?
C: hmm, actually she's awae on a 6months student exchange. she just left
kerly: wad???
kerly: is there any wae i can get my vcds back soon?
C: erm, ok.. i'll try to contact her via email/msn.

and so i waited for C's reply on that matter.
wait a few daes never mind, i dint wanna behave like A.
so i only msged her once and den waited for her to contact D and get back to me.
finally, after many many many dae,

C: ok, i've contacted D, its at her house. i'll go down and get it for you.
kerly: den how do we meet? will you be in nus one of these daes?
C: actually no. ok, i'll pass it to B den she'll pass it to you ok?

yupp, so poor kerly had no choice but to wait again, for many many many daes.
finally, the vcds was with B.
den again, had to arrange to meet up with B.
after many failed meet ups, we finally met up and i finally got my vcds back.
haii, so much work just to lend it to A.

so before i lent it to A,
i decided to rearrange the vcds, becoz i saw that it was not in order.
was actually pretty pissed off over that too.
i mean, you borrow my vcds, i lent it to you in nicely arranged order,
from S1E1-12, den S2E1-13, den S3E1-13 and S4E1-5
and now, you return it all to me in a mess?
but ok, i shall not get angry coz at least its back with me now.

so i took out the discs to sort them out.
and to my horror,
there were 2 broken discs.
man, that really pissed me off real big !

breaking my discs is no big deal if you had told me bout it.
i mean, a cd cost only 30cents?
i dun really care bout the disc so much.
but to break my disc, not tell me and attempt to conceal it,
by hiding it at the bottom of the entire stack of vcds?
thats too much man !!!
and also, 5episodes from season4 was missing.

so i msged C again.
dint wanna confront her about it coz if she wanted to tell me bout it, she would have right?
so i just asked her bout the 5 missing discs.

kerly: hey, you know when i lent B/you the vcds, there was the first 5episodes of season4.
kerly: now its missing. is it still with you?
C: no, i dun have it.
kerly: are you sure? can you check? coz i'm really sure it was all together when i lent it to B/you
C: yar, i dunno but i really dun have.
argh.

so how? now got missing discs and no one wants to own up.
and i've still have A bugging me till no end bout season4.
argh, really bloody annoying i tell you !!!

oh by the wae, my prison break is still missing.
and also, the many movie dvds are not back yet.

hmm, if i ever ask if my vcd is with you,
please at least let me finish my questions,
please think thru properly, before answering me.
coz this is the usual response i get,

kerly: hey, that time i lent you my..
fren: oh its not with me

argh, its so bloody annoying.
i havent finished my question yet, how would you know wad i'm asking for?
and with your quick answer, i'm hardly convinced that you even tried to recall before answering
so bloody insincerely.

so moral of the story.
do not lend anyone anything, no matter what they promise you,
"oh yes, i'll return by wed !" or "i'll surely remember to bring it next time we meet k?"
coz they'll say anything just to get it.
but once they have it with them, its as good as saying goodbye to your discs forever.
coz you'll almost never get it back !
