the main reason is that my ortho test is over !!
hohoohh.
and it went pretty well, so i'm glad.
now, i'm only left with ortho mcq and OSCE.

i got prof low as tester todae, hsienmin's papa !
everyone said he was scary,
but phew, he wasnt as scary and mean as described.

he gave me a case, but the patient was discharged this morning,
and den he blamed it on the fact that i was late for the test.
technically, i was on time, ok?
i reached the Clinical Staff Office on time but they left early wad !
plus the patient discharged in the morning leh !!

so anywae, he gave me wengo's short case, which is super duper tough.
wengo tried explaining the diagnosis to me, after the whole test of course, but too chim already.
i dint understand and forgot the diagnosis.
but luckily the patient wanted to sleep, so we had to change patient halfwae.

you know, i was clerking her halfwae,

auntie: haiyo, i'm very sleepy leh. dun ask me anymore lah.
kerly: oh so sorry auntie, can i just ask a few more question.
auntie: ok fine, wad?
kerly: (insert question)
auntie: dunno, cant remember.
kerly: den do you remember (insert question)
auntie: dunno, cant remember.
kerly: oh auntie, i'm so sorry but i'm having a test now.
kerly: i'll just a few more questions den i'll leave you alone to sleep ok?
auntie: haiya, ok.
kerly: (insert question)

and the whole cycle repeated itself for 10mins.

oh sickening auntie, really freaked me out lor.
i mean, of all time, why choose to be so uncooperative during my test??
so i had no choice but had to tell prof low bout the sleepy & uncooperative patient.
argh !!
in the end, i had a lady with poliomyelitis for long case.

and prof low's quite funny lah.
kerly: on inspection, i see an area of puckered skin.
kerly: it looks like a healed sinus tract, i think its a healed TB sinus scar
prof low: huh? wad?
prof low: an area of buckle under the patient's skin?
prof low: is that even possible?
(turn and looks at his doctor, and gave the "is this girl mad?" face)
(den he decided to bend over to inspect the back too)
prof low: oh you meant puckered skin?
kerly: yar
prof low: oh yar lah, could be TB lah. next time pronounce properly can !?!

and he's really quite abrupt but thats good.
this was how my last short case went.

prof low: ok, wad's this?
(points to the external fixator on the patient's thigh)
kerly: this is an external fixator on the patient's right femur
prof low: ok, good. when do you use it?
kerly: hmm, its usually used in open fractures when the wound is heavily contaminated..
(kerly tried to list more uses for the external fixator but got cut off)
prof low: ok, good. is this permanent?
kerly: no.
prof low: ok, good. bye !
(and walks awae, leaving his doctor to explain to me that the test is over)

anywae,
i'm super duper happy that my ortho test is over,
and that the holidaes are coming soon !!

after my test, i went home, watched prison break,
planned my shopping list with sister dear, arrange for mahjong tm,
and den went for badminton training.

todae's training wasnt very fruitful,
i dunno, maybe coz i was too tired from the test earlier,
felt like my legs were too heavy and i've like zero stamina.
i told my coach to be kinder to me..

kerly: oh jiao lian, please be kinder to me, i'm really damn tired todae.
jiao lian: but you feel like that every training wad.
kerly: but todae, super no stamina and my legs cannot move

everyone: got lor, you're such a slacker.
kerly: oh sadness :(

this is terrible.
they think that i use school as an excuse.
oh horrid, but i have perfect training attendance wad.
sickening.

oh but one good new, i won both my singles games todae.
quite unexpected coz my teammates are so much faster and fitter than me.
but anywae, i still won, by alot somemore.
so i'm very pleased :)
hohohoohh.

so wad if i'm slack?
at least i still perform well, right !!!
