this is frustrating.
do you know wad irritates me the most?
stupid people who are sick but too stingy to see a doctor.
here, i say people.
becoz most of them are not my good friends,
they happen to be people i used to know from a very long ago,
who happens to know that i'm studying to be a doctor.

if doctors can give medical consults over the telephone or sms..
den why is there so many doctor clinics around?
the doctors shud just stay home and wait for phone consultations from their patients.
there's clinics becoz doctors need to examine patients too !

and also, if medical students are able to give diagnosis & treatment over the phone,
den why are we still medical students?
they might as well make us doctors immediately.

if you're seriously ill, please see a doctor.
if you're slightly unwell but concerned about it, please see a doctor.

if you're unwell and call/msg to tell me bout it.
at most, i can listen to your complaints for awhile,
offer some lousy differential diagnosis,
and den i'll still have to advise you to see a doctor.
so next time when you're ill, do me a favour, just skip the calling/msg-ing me part,
just go and see a doctor please !
