todae, i had a really fun and rather tiring dae !
thats becoz we went cycling at pulau ubin !
thats darren, wengo, mimi and i !
we met at 930am, went to pulau ubin at 1030am and cycled all dae till 530pm !
madness right?

we met at the changi village market for breakfast at 930am !
after breakfast, we shopped for lunch and i nearly bought some fishing equipment !
and den we hurried over the changi point ferry terminal, to catch our bum boats to pulau ubin !

the boat ride there is really cheap $2 per person, $2 extra if you bring your own bike !
and its only a 10mins boat ride, so no worries of getting seasick !!
the only sickening thing is that, the bum boat only leaves when there's 12passagers.
so we had to wait for more people to arrive before been able to get to pulau ubin.

we arrive at pulau ubin !!

first stop, to the information kiosk for the island map,

and den to the main village to explore and rent bicycles.

the bicycle rental was very cheap,

we managed to pay $4 per person for the entire dae of rent !!

and of course, dont settle on the first stall you see, they usually offer the worst deal !

and off we are to a fun-filled dae of cycling at pulau ubin !

first, we started on nice tarred road !

thats to customised ourselves to the brakes and gear changing of our bikes.

oh yar, darren was the designated map reader,

and he did a pretty good job at that too !

we managed to cover everything on that island, cycled on every road on that island !

after we got better, we decided to go off-road onto the gravel tracks.

and of course, we cycled to many many lovely beaches and quarry sites.

we also had to ride on the dirt road, which darren loved !

its quite fun lah, but scary especially when going down slope very quickly !

here's the first beach we arrived at, its called the mamam beach.

its pretty small with scary, itch-inducing sandflies !

we also went to the noordin beach where it was filled with cute japanese kids.

and den, we tried to cycle to the tanjong chek jawa.

its supposed to be a pretty nice mangrove area,

but too bad, it was closed for upgrade !

in the end, we cycled to some mangrove area near the kampongs !

we also visited a nursery filled with scary-looking scarecrows !
