i must declare that 2007 is officially the worst traffic year for me !

its started in january when a drunk driver dashed into my path,
and then lied bout the whole accident, that i dashed the red light and hit him.
but lucky for me,
i was managed to get 2 independent witnesses who testified against him.
in the end, he got charged with inconsiderate driving, fined and got some demerit points.

thou i dint get severely injuried, only an ugly abrasion to remind me of that horrid accident,
the memory of being cross-examined, and having the traffic police question my integrity,
was a really scary experience.
by the wae, we're still in the process of suing him.
fuck all these legal processes which takes so long :(

yesterdae, i was hit by a stupid van !
i wasnt injured and mr cream was fine,
but it was a bad experience too.

i was on the "can either go straight or turn left" lane,
the stupid van was on the outer "can only go straight" lane.
he sped up beside me and tried to make a left turn in front of me.
i quickly jammed the brake, he did too when he realised that i wasnt turning.
he hit me, but luckily, the metal bar at the side of mr cream absorbed the impact.
so no harm but super alot of shock and stress.

this was our conversation,
kerly: excuse me, why did you try to make a left turn from your lane? its not right.
stupid uncle: but everyone on your lane usually make the left turn, so why dint you?
stupid uncle: plus i've been driving on this road everydae, and i do this all the time.
stupid uncle: nothing like this have ever happened.
kerly: my lane is an "either go straight or make a left turn", i could choose to go straight.
stupid uncle: den you shud have signalled your intention more clearly.
kerly: what the fuck?
kerly: if i was turning, i could signal left, but how am i supposed to signal that i'm going straight?
stupid uncle: ok, so are you injuried?
kerly: no, but my bike is damaged. the metal bar is dented, i need to get a new one.
stupid uncle: no, i dont see any damaged.
stupid uncle: anywae, count yourself lucky, i could have killed you if i was going faster.
that man is a bloody fucker.

i dint get hurt or anything, but it just got me thinking..
no matter how safe i ride,
if some crazy/inconsiderate/drunk driver comes and bang me over, i'll be dead.
just like that.

i dun wanna die, but i dun wanna give up riding too :(

and todae, i lost my watch while riding to NUH.
it was still there on my wrist at the thomson traffic lights,
but when i stopped to top up my petrol at queenswae, it was gone.
it probably unbuckled during the ride and fell onto the road.
so sad, it was only 2weeks old.
