haii, really sad day for me.

graham got herself injuried 2 daes back.
char called me for help but we dint send her to the vet until todae..

there was granulation tissues already.
the vet shaved her hair and tried to toilet the wound,
but dint want to dig up the granulation tissue or she'll bleed again.
now, we're worried that there might be an abscess brewing in there..

she's on antibiotics, probiotics and chlorohexidine wound wash.
i hope her infection clears.
if she gets an abscess, we'll have to send her in to remove it.
and its going to be so painful for her.

we have to wash her raw wound with antiseptic wash twice a dae.
try washing your own wound with chlorohexidine, it stings !
super duper painful for my poor girl too.
she cried and tried to struggle awae when we washed her wound.

and we have to be super duper careful too.
the wound is on her nose, close to her eyes,
if the chlorohexidine gets into her eyes, she might get conjunctivitis.

and because we cannot risk letting the wound get infected,
she has been isolated from the other bunnies..
just in case they try to groom her and end up infecting the wound.

and i'm getting her a collar tomorrow,
to make sure she doesnt touch her wound with her not-so-clean paws.
