oh wad a traumatic dae for me !!!
i had both my medicine and surgical posting exams todae !!!
yes, 2 exams in a dae !!!
medicine one in the moring and surgical one in the afternoon..

the medicine posting exam was HORRIBLE !!!
i just hope i pass :(
i hate my patient.. idiotic madam Ho !!!
she's a SABO QUEEN lor !!

here's wad happened (summarised version)
i was supposed to take a history from this lady called madam Ho..
madam Ho presented with pain in her left loin region..
so anywae, after she told me bout the pain..
i tried to ask her bout the 10 aspects of her pain..

oh anywae, madam Ho is an english speakin patient..
she told me that she preferred english to chinese..
and no, i did not offend her..
we even made small talk bout medicine life before i started my history taking..

kerly: so madam Ho, when did your back start to feel pain?
madam Ho (MH): actually got pain long ago, but this 2 weeks more painful..
kerly: so this pain started long ago? how long ago?
MH: hmm, very long ago lor..
kerly: hmm, how long ago? 1month ago? 6months ago? 1year ago?
MH: hmm, dunno leh, very long ago leh..
kerly: so you dun rem when it started is it ? maybe roughly? bout 1year ago? or 5years ago?
MH: hmm, i think its quite long ago lah.. dunno..

kerly: so madam Ho, you said your loin pain, is there anything you do that aggravates it? hmm, like make it more painful?
MH: oh yar, when i bend down and touch my toes lor..
kerly: oh, so when you bend down and touch your toes den more painful is it?
MH: yes, den sometimes i lie down also quite pain lah..
kerly: oh, den is there anything you do that makes it less painful?
MH: yar yar, of course lah.. just dun bend down and touch my toes lor...
kerly: oh, i mean, is there anything you do, like maybe stand up or walk around or eat something den less pain?
MH: yar lah.. just dun bend down den can lor.. when dun bend down den not painful wad..
kerly: hmm, how bout when you sit up, is it less painful?
MH: aiyo, all the same.. only when i bend down den pain.. if dun bend down, den not so pain

kerly: okae, so madam Ho, are you on any medication for your pain?
MH: nope..
kerly: no nothing? did you eat panadol on your own or anything?
MH: nope, never..
kerly: so, you're not on any medication.. did the doc give you any medicine, like painkillers or anything?
MH: nope, i'm not on any medication right now..

kerly: so madam Ho, this pain of yours.. is it only at your back? or did it spread to other parts of your body?
MH: hmmm..
kerly: maybe spread to your stomach or to the other side of your back??
MH: oh yar yar, it spreaded to my stomach here (point to her left lunbar region) and sometimes here (umbilical region)
kerly: oh, so here (left lumbar region) and here (umbilical region) . how bout your arms? or your back? or other parts of your body?? did it spread o anywhere else?
MH: nope, only spread to these areas ...
kerly: oh, so only here and here?
MH: yes..

den the doc came in and started to question me bout madam Ho..
by the wae, madam Ho was present when he questioned me..
so i couldnt defend myself at all...

doc: so, when did madam Ho's pain started?
kerly: erm, i'm not very sure as madam Ho could not rem when it started exactly.. but it is a chronic pain which started quite long ago.. and it got worst within this 2 weeks..
doc: really? did you ask her?
kerly: yes, but she could not rem..
doc: really? (den turn to madam Ho) so when did this pain start?
MH: oh, bout 1year ago..

OH MY GOD !!!
i wanted to slap her lor..
first cannot rem.. den doc come already..
suddenly memory so good..

doc: den for her pain.. is she on any medication for it?
kerly: nope, madam Ho is currently not on any medication
doc: what? did you ask her?
kerly: yes, she told me that she was not on any medication.. and has no drug allergies..
doc: (turn to madam Ho) is that true?
MH: no, i got eat the medicine you gave me.. and the laxative also..

WAH.. i nearly fainted..

doc: so tell me, wad were her aggravating and relieving factors?
kerly: the pain gets worst when she bends down to touch her toes..
doc: yes, somemore?
kerly: and it hurts sometimes when she lies down
doc: okae, den how bout the relievin factors?
kerly: there was no relievin factor.. she only avoids bending down..
doc: oh really? did you EVEN ask her bout it?
kerly: yes sir, i did..
doc: (turn to madam Ho) so got any relieving factors or not?
MH: got !!! when i eat the laxative you gave me.. den it makes me shit.. den less painful..

ARGH... i'm so so dead..
i could see that my doc was beginnin to get upset with me already..
he must be thinkin..
"this girl cant even take a decent history man!!!"

doc: so is her pain radiating? did it spread to other parts of her body?
kerly: yes, it spread from her left loin to her left lumbar and umbilical regions
doc: thats it?
MH: no, it even spread to my whole leg and toes.. very pain leh..

WAH.. i'm officially dead !!!!
the madam Ho has just sabo-ed my entire history taking..
and one more thing..

the room that i had to take history in, only had an examination bed and a chair..
so i told madam Ho to rest on the bed while i sit on the chair..
but she refused.. she said she would be more comfy sitting on the chair..
so she made me sit on the bed instead..
and when the doc came in..
he was absolutely horrified to see me sittin on the bed..
and he even gave me that look..
that "how dare you make the patient sit on the chair" look

oh horror upon horror !!!
i'm so gonna fail this exam !!!
i hate you, madam Ho !!!

kristal's surprise party was very fun !!
it was a tea party..
and we made yummy cakes/food for her :)

diana made a pandan cake with a surprise inside..
there was nutella in the cake !!
yummay :)

xuel made salad.. the nicest one ever !!
but later she scared the hell outta us with her story..
apparently, xuel found a family of worms in the vege while washin them..
accordin to her..
"first i saw a baby worm.. i was already freakin out.."
den she went on to describe how the worm was wrigglin around..
"den i opened between 2 leaves.. and i found the mama and papa worms too !!"
"i wanted to throw the vege awae but my mum told me not to tell you bout it !!!"
but yupp, she threw those leaves awae in the end..
good thing !!

and this is wad i made !!! ahahahha..
looks gross right??
its hard-boiled eggs !!!

learnt this from ying ci's mummy :) after boiling the egg, take off the shells..
remove the egg yolk and mix it with mayo and salt/sugar/pepper if required..
den squeeze it back into the egg white.. and as you can see, i dint have those nice cream squeezer..
so i took a sandwich bag and cut a hole at the bottom..
yes, no wonder my yolk looks like shit literally !!
hahahahha

and look at my birthdae present from kristal ..
heehee.. chick with attitude :)

i know its like more than 2 months after my birthdae..
but i only just received my birthdae pics from dehan..
so yay yay !!!

oh, we took many many pics..
esp when playin games.. but we all look quite ugly lah..

we played many many games..

and even coordinated with his group of frens to sabo me :(

dunno why but i'm in such a shopping mood !!
there seem to be sales everywhere i go..

i spent more than $200 last night on work clothes !!
i dun believe it..
almost all my pocket money for the month gone !!!
but everything seem like a good deal..
i couldnt help it !!!

same design but in 4 different colours, am i mad??
hahahha.. i think i am..
i just hope i dun grow too fat..

the country SPAIN is actually named after rabbits??
yes it is !!!
read on..

the natural homeland of the rabbits is the Iberian Peninsula
aka Modern Spain and Portugal..

when the Phoenicians discovered that area..
they were amazed by the number of rabbits they saw..
and decided to name that area "I-shepham-im"
"I-shepham-im" means "land of the rabbits"

argh..
why did the flash light bulb in my cam die??
now i've no camera !!!
and have to resort to my handphone cam to take pics of my bunlops :(

i tried using my sister's cam..
but its damn pok !!!
it only have shoot and play back function..
there's no focus on small object function..
so all my smallie objects turn out very blur !!!

anywae, this vesak dae weekend have been great for me..
char and i explored all the old streets in singapore..
not to mention, spent alot of money there !!!
we went to arab street, bugis street and the newly renovated people's park complex !!
yum yum, people's park rocks !!

and after shoppin and surfin online..

we're gonna make
1. cute belts (made some already)
2. vintage lookin waist belts (made some already but both of us cant carry off the look)

oh no !!
i forgot my bunlop's birthdae !!!
it was on thursdae !!!
oh horrid mummy is me !!!

bunnies' health update !!
for isaac's sake :)

the bunlops are very good and healthy now :)
the bare spot on graham's tummay is gone !!
and so are the bare spots on tissues paws and belly :)
and all the crustin on the bunlops' ears are gone !!!
no more itchy itchy scratchy scratchy for the bunnies and me !!

but tissue's tail is bald now!!!
oh sadness, now its ugly and looks like a rat's tail..
plus its all red and swollen :(
i've to put some anti-parasidal cream on his tail..
but its seem to be quite painful for him :(

anywae, i love the animal clinic !!!
the vets are really good at treatin pets..
plus they're really nice, to both mummy and bunnies :)

when its my turn..
the receptionist calls out
"tissue ker !! graham ker !! its your turn now"
at first, i was quite surprised and embarrassed..
but now, i'm very happy and proud to be call their mummy :)
hohoho :)

and the 2 vets i've seen so far..
very good !!
they're really nice and gentle to the buns..
oh, i think vets are nice people :)

toon's 21st birthdae celebration was a blast !!!
we had dinner at boon tong kee..
and den, loads and loads of drinks at new asia bar !!
yummay food, not-so-nice tasting drinks.. and great view !!!

we can see the entire orchard area from here !!!

yupp yupp..
so after the yummay but extremely fatty dinner at boon tong kee chicken rice..
we forced toon to park her car at home..
ahah !! thats for our PLAN to work..
plan is to make her totally wasted on her birthdae !!!
hohoohoh :)

we managed to reach new asia bar before 9pm..
and there was a 50% off all drinks..
and we brought all like $400++ worth of drinks..
crazy right??
lucky there was 1 for 1.. if not, we'll spend like $800++?!?

anywae, we tried almost everything on the menu !!!
test-tube babies, blue equinox, green space, crush on you??
after eight, AK47, flaming lamboghini, NI HAO MAH??
apple martini, lychee martini, GENTLE TESTICLES.. PUSSY DELIGHT, green listerine, and many many more..

test-tube babies were horrible !!! and they're crazily priced too !!! at $60 per rack !!
anywae, we forced toon to drink them all !!! hohoho.. we're evil !!

toon ordered 20 shots to celebrated mel low's belated birthdae !!

toon and i, a toast to our frenship of 10 years !!! hohohho :)

zenia wanted to order SLIPPERY NIPPLES for toon..
but it wasnt on the menu..so she called the waiter over and asked..
"hey, do you have SLIPPERY NIPPLES??"
the guy was like "HUH?? WAD???"
damn funny !!!
and he looked absolutely embarrassed and confused !!!

anywae, we really got toon damn drunk..
she started talkin rubbish and doin crazy stunts..
look at her purgin gong fu !!! she kept sayin that if she meditate long enough..
all the beer and alcohol will spurt out from her ears and nose !!!

and she forced laurene to tie a knot on the cherry stalk with her tongue..
laurene couldnt do it..
so she sneakily spat out the cherry stalk and tied a knot using her hands..
toon caught her in action !!!....and punished her to drink the test-tube babies (yucks)!!!

she kept insisting that she was very sober and kept askin us to quiz her..
so we asked her to do a tap dance.. and she really did it !!!!
right in the middle of the bar !!!!

and actually, new asia bar had this stupid club rule..
NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED IN THE BAR
so we could only cut the birthdae cake but cannot eat it.... but toon started stalking the waiter in her drunken state..
and the guy got frightened.. and allowed us to eat the cake..
he even provided plates and napkins !!!

den toon went to the toilet to pee..but she never came out..
yuan lai, she puked like siao in the toilet..
and almost fell asleep in the cubicle !!!
we had to call the waitresses in to help us open the toilet door..
the entire toilet floor was covered with her pukew
we had to drag her outta of the cubicle..
lucky, char had an extra tee-shirt..
so we helped her changed and clean her..
and den we sent her home !!!

wad an eventful night !!!
hohohho.. hope she enjoyed herself last night !!
