oh, becoz i'm going for the hong kong trip,
i'll be missing 6daes out of my 10dae ENT posting.
and becoz of that, i've to do a re-posting in M5.
but all is not lost, becoz i'm really enjoying my extended holidaes :)
with all the time in the world, i can meet up with frens at anytime.
we dun have to meet up for dinner only.
we can go back to st nicks to visit teacher and have yummy lunch !
and we can stay out late for supper and not worry bout school the next dae.
and best of all, we can have mahjong anytime we wann !

anywae, i think the breakup season is here again.
now, almost everyone i know is single and sad.
haii.
its really saddening,

first dae of school was a really tiring dae for me !
first dae of ENT posting was a super long dae.
we reported to the department's office at 845am for briefing,
followed by 8lectures back to back until 530pm !
wah, that's like 8&half hours of non-stop lectures !
there was supposed to be a 30mins lunch break,
but when we got to NUH kopitiam and sat down,
i received a phone call "next lecture starts in 10mins time !"
so sian !
we had to grab a sandwich and rush up for lecture !
the 8hours of non-stop lecture was a real killer !
at the end of it, i was aching everywhere, esp my butt !
and we were so tired, by the 6th or 7th lecture, we all switched off already.
the guys behind were all sound asleep !
and after school, i had super tiring badminton training !!
my coach was crazy yesterdae !
you see, the last few training before any competition is usually games training.
thats where we spend the entire 3hours of training playing matches against each other.
but yesterdae, due to the poor training attendance,
my coach decided to make us do drills, footwork and sprints !
crazy is her name !!
and she's a really cheeky lady !
i told her that i was damn tired, den she decided to bribe me !
ok lah, she dint bribe me, she's just a super nice coach that loves us all !
she took out a box of grips and re-griped both my rackets !
coach: how's your grip? need to change?
kerly: dun need lah ! still good, can use.
coach: haiyo, go tournament then change new one, feel good mah !
kerly: hahahah. ok lor..
after changing my grip for me,
coach: so now i changed grip for you already, got strength/motivation to train somemore?
anywae, coach is really really nice !
you know, whenever we went for overseas tournament,
she'll be like our mama, and make sure we're all well taken care of.
she'll buy alot of food so that we wont be hungry at night,
and she'll take us out for yummy dinners !
and you know, she'll insist on paying for everything, and if we try to pay, she'll get upset !
i think i blogged bout this before, but i'll do it again.
you know, when we were in Perth,
we walked down a street, and i saw a super HUGE white crab !
i commented that it would taste yummy !
den coach overheard it and ended up treating us to dinner at that restaurant.
and she ordered alot of that BIG white crab and other seafood !
yar, and although she's not going with us to hongkong this time,
she gave my captain part of her training pay, bout $1000, to pay for our dinners.
so nice right?
she said that she dint train us for the money, she trained us becoz of the relationship.
and therefore, she wanted us to have part of her earnings to spend in hongkong !
so super nice right??
she's one of the best coaches i ever had.
you know, she was the one who saw the potential in me and trained me up !
she started coaching me in primary 5, and until now !
wah !
so sad, she said she might not be coaching us anymore :(

anywae, here are my new toys !
my yummy orange ipod shuffle :)
i got it really cheap !and i love orange !
i've decided to use this for awhile, and if i dun like it, i'll swap with xuel !last week, i told char that i might wanna keep 2 more bunnies with me.
coz cookie and raisin looked rather lonely and bored.
and so i decided that if i wanted more bunnies, i'll take yummy and tummy.
and therefore the msn nick "i'm dreaming of Guo Mei Wei and Guo Du Zi"
at first i put it as "i'm dreaming of Guo Mei Li and Guo Du Zi"
den my friend read it as "i'm dreaming of Pretty Guo and her Guo bunnies"
and he scolded me for calling myself pretty !
hhahahhaa, so lame !
anywae, back to the story.
char was quite sad that i might wanna take yummy and tummy awae from her,
and so she decided to bribe me with cutesie rabbit toys !

cutesie is wad they ar, just like cookie and raisin :)
and she also gave me 4 cutesie bunnies from ikea !
they are sitting in front of my keyboard facing me !
oh cuteness !!

this is pretty random, but i realised that i'm really getting old :(
last time whenever i go for overseas tournament,
i'm usually the baby of the team and everyone would take care of me.
now, i'm the auntie of the team :(
look at the team list !
i'm one of the few that was matriculated in 2004 !oh, very old indeed :(
and while packing my photo drawer, i found many old pics !
so todae, i'll blog bout my beautiful badminton memories !
hahhaha.

i remember, my first overseas tournament was to changmai, thailand.
that was in 1997, when i was in primary6.
wahlao, so scary ! i'm so bloody old already !its been 10years since i went for that trip !
anywae, that trip was real fun ! there were 10girls and 10guys.
and as the st nicks badminton team won double champs consecutively, in 1996 & 1997,
so more than half the players who represented the combined school team were from st nicks !
we had a real good bonding session :)
here's the singapore contingent !
if you can recognise any of the faces above,you'll realised that many of the players are now super zai and well-known local players.
there's weipin who has been national champs for years already.
and there's phillip phua who was one of the youngest player who turned professional.
and classmates of hamon, can you spot him?
here's a picture of us with the entire badminton contingent !
among all the overseas tournaments that i've been to,
the most memorable trip was to seremban, malaysia in 2001.
i had the most fun there, maybe becoz the girls team was super close.

and we were very close to the guy team too !
i remember that when we went to seremban,the hilton hotel was just completed and we were their first guests.
its was lovely, becoz we almost had the whole hotel to ourselves.
the funniest part bout that trip was the swimming pool incident!
i brought my hotel bathsoap to the pool and poured it into the jaccuzzi tub.
within 10mins, the tub become a giant bubbling bathtub !
the guys were so scared that they kept trying to scoop the bubbles out of the tub !
but no matter how quickly they did it, the bubbles just keep forming non-stop !
in the end, the hotel security came to scold us !
and the jaccuzzi tub was close as they had to empty out all the water,
and refill it with clean, non-soapy water !
hahahahha.
and i remembered, we made frens with all the players from other teams.
every night after our long dae of tournament,
we would be meet up with the thailand girls to play cards.
and if the indonesian and malaysian girls were free too,
we would run down to the main lobby and play Dog&Bone !
fun is all i can remember !

i'm standing beside the best looking hong kong guy in his team.
one of my team mate had a crush on him,
and she almost died of jealousy when i managed to exchange jersey with him.
in the end, i gave her that hong kong guy's jersey,
and she wore it everydae for the rest of the trip !
very crazy indeed !
and of course, i must mention my best doubles partner !

we partnered in j1 and got national champs for that individual event.

oh no, how now ! what shud i do?
i really like the first generation ipod shuffle.
and xuel really likes the second generation ipod shuffle.
we originally agreed that i will buy the new ipod shuffle,
and den we shall have an ipod shuffle exchange !
i take her old one and she takes the new one !
but everyone keeps scolding me for being stupid.
argh, now i dunno what to do :(
its not as if i'm making a real big loss right?
becoz presently, the price of both the old and new one is the same.
and i think i might be able to get the new model at a cheaper rate.
plus i really like the older model.
argh. this is so difficult !
